Plant Address change in Open PO

Hi ,

I need to change a plant address in SPRO..

Once i change/update Plant address in SPRO,the change is updated in all Open POs & Closed POs as well but i want new plant address updated only in Open POs..

Is it possible?

How i can achieve this in SAP?Pls advice

Sankar,

Not possible, to my knowledge. The PO tables store an address number, not the values for all the fields in the address. The address that you see within the PO in the system would be updated to the new Plant address. However, the output that was already sent, e.g. to suppliers, still has the old address. The PO is not actually updated, unless you open it for a change. j

If you need to change the delivery address for Open POs, you will need to resend the output.

Is the display change on closed POs causing an issue?

Yes ,After changing plant address ..

I am just diplaying close PO through ME23N Transaction but i see the delivery address tab has the latest/new address which we updated recently in Plant level
