Hi All,

I have a planned order in MD04 screen for a material .when I chcked the order progress report for the material I did not find any igher level material or the requirements created in MD63.

How can I find if this order is created manually or through MRP?

The planed order is with RS* indication.

If this is a manually created order, how can i find who created th same?

Hi,

What is the MRP type of the material? If it is a consumption based type, such as VB, planned orders will not be created against requirement. It might be that a reorder point has been reached and the planned order is created.

HI

From F1 help we can get as the system only sets the firming indicator (*) for manually changed planned orders or purchase requisitions. If a firming indicator is set then the system will no longer change the planned orders or the purchase requisitions.

Also you can check in Table PLAF for Field PUSER who has last changed to Planned order.

How can I find if this order is created manually or through MRP? --> In general, MRP run is executed using background(BG)

job, identity the BG job name to know who created the planned order (PLAF-PUSER).

Note:User name would override in the table with latest name if changes are made to the planned order { in other words, user name who created the planned orders will be superseded by latest user name for a given change}

Hi,

I think you are working in REM scenario. You can check the planned order for which requirement by using the MD09(pegging requirement)

Please check and revert.

And the more easier way is to click on the pegged requirements icon in the MD04 screen itself.

Hello Karthick,

Maybe you can use PLAF-AUFFX (firming indicator for planned order data). In case of manually created / changed PldOrds it contains an 'x', but if you read the help for this field you will see that the user can remove the firming indicator intentionally.

Transaction STAD can be used to trace user-transaction: check the creation date and also check which transaction was executed at that time...

Hope this information is useful
