Planning strategy 40 with final assembly with period indicator "P".

Hi Team 

When we are use planning strategy 40, with period indicator "P" and consumption mode "5". When the sales orders are created, PIRs are not consumed as per the strategy.  

Material master settings

Demand: 

Stock / Requirement list. 

PIR are not adjusted with Sales order quantity. It is working fine with period indicator "M" Month.

Hi Varma, please check if SO uses requirement type KSV. This type together with req.class 050 is the one assigned to strategy 040 by default. I tested with period ind P and cons type 5 and my SO consumed PIRs. BR, Maya

Thanks for the reply. 

Attached note was for standard period "D", "W" & "M". But as per my client requirement I am working on period indicator "P" with Fiscal year variant. And the customer order should consume the PIR's with in the period only.
