Hi,

The materials which are due to expire in say next two months should not be considered in planning as unrestricted stock that means you need to transfer this stock to the S Blocked Stock. For that you need to create variant and run it every night by taking help from technical person You can do it.

Sudo Logic:- SELD (Raw material ) - 60 = Todays date = Block stock

In MMBEExtraBatch classification is ther so you will get data for characteristics and its value.

Please try and come back.

HI

MRP will not check expiry related logics.

it will chekc wether the stock is there or not.

better you need to run the deadline monitoring in back ground that is QA07.

for that your materials should have the batch classification data.

and at the time of GRNs systen will update the expiry dates in the BTCHES.(in material master you need to maintain the shelf life)

So at the time of ruuning the QA07 system will transfer to blocked stock ( all the materials which are expired).

Hopes u have configured batch management .In batch management define shelf life for ur material. So while running MRP system will not consider those material whose expiry date is over.
