Hi PP GURUs,

I want to Use planning Calender during MRP Run. I have Created planning calendar for Weekly Calculation of Every Monday of the per week by MD25.

I have Created Weekly Lot Size "ZW" by copying "PK". Now I have assigned the planning Calender RW1 in MRP 2 view and Assigned Weekly Lot Size "ZW" in MRP1 View of material Master. My MRP Type is PD.

I have created Requirements with MD61 on daily basis. When I run MRP, The system is not clubbing the Requirements for Every Monday of the week but gives daily Requirement.

Then I changed the MRP Type to "R1" and re run the MRP. but still I am unable to get desired results after MRP run. System is not clubbing the requirements every Monday. System shows the error as the MRP Type is not suitable for Weekly Lot Size. Can anybody guide me where i am going wrong in Process of Set up requirement as per planning Calender.

Regards,

Pradeep

Pradeep, When you make a copy of PK,  the key field concerned 'Scheduling' gets defaulted as Blank (Requirements date  = delivery date) in your ZW lotsize. That is the reason.

Make this value as NON-BLANK in your ZW lotsize (as per your requirement) by keying in 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 and execute a planning run.

You should see the result you want.

R1 MRP type is for time-phased planning and it does not support a periodic lot sizing procedure FYI.
