Planning and Staffing in Plan Customer Project using 3rd Party Application, Scope Item J11

Hi

With the upcoming deletion of scope item 1KC and 2MV applications (Resource Management for Projects), I would like to understand if it would be possible to use Scope Item J11 together with a 3rd party resource planning application, or can you only have one or the other, once we "switch off" 1KC

We have multiple divisions where some require planning at a granular level, therefore would like to have a 3rd party resource planning application. Other divisions only want to use J11 to facilitate the capturing of timesheets on projects for time and material billing

Thanks, I found the information in Scope Item J11

"Note Once the integration with the external resource management system is activated, the project manager cannot staff an employee ("Requested Resource" is for planning purposes) in the Plan Internal Projects (F1656) app. Staffing assignments must be made from the external system only. "
