Planned order creating in past

Hi gurus,

Planned order is creating in past because of sales order, i.e. system is creating planned order taking information from sales order. Planned order is creating in past date as a result planned order can not be converted to production order because routing validity start date is in later date than the planned order dates. In this situation, what configuration parameters need to change so that no planned order can be created in past, i.e. even if requirement date of sales order is in past but planned order start date can not go before today's date.

Hi,

Check the setting in the OPPQ transaction --> Start in Past weather active are not if active remove it.

Also check any MRP group assigned to material master if so go to OPPR and check weather start in past is active are not

After doing so Run MRP and check

Dear Tanver,

you can see in OPU5 customizing t-code and insert day in the past = 0

And after in OPPR or OPPQ set the same value according to own logic.

i have changed but still planned order is creating in past date may i know why or any other settings need to change?
