Plan data import for Customer Projects

Hi Everyone,

Can we enter/upload  plan data for "Customer Projects" WBS elements?

As far as I know Project Budget only works for EPPM.

And Plan upload data also works for 1NT Projects.

How can we enter plan data for Customer Projects? Is it possible?

I would like to use Project Actual/Plan app.

Hi Resul,

No , it is impossible to import plan data for customer project.

As you have already known that it only works for EPPM project.

For your requirement, you can create a feature request.

How can we control our Customer Projects?

Neither "Budget Control" nor "Plan Data" we have for Customer Projects 🙂

Because lots of customers use Plan data for Projects on their old system.

How can we handle to these questions?

If I understand correctly we have only actual and EBR postings for Customer projects.

Hi Resul,

Technically, it is possible to use 'Import Financial Plan Data' to import the data for planning cateogires CPM base baseline and CPM ongoing.

However, as the backend table ACDOCP will not be updated automatically, normally, this is not recommended .

And in fact, you can use project API to create the planning data (e.g. planning efforts).

We can upload planning data for Customer Project with using "Project Planning Template" in import financial data app.

I mean that you can use e.g. API /cpd/SC_PROJ_ENGMT_CREATE_UPD_SRV > DemandSet to import the planning efforts data.
