Pipe line material issued with value

Hi Gurus, While running pipeline scenario , when i did GI with Mvt 261 System allowed me to do this transaction.. in my PIPE material type in OMS2, no val & no qty  is activated. but at the the time of posting the material, system picking the price. how can this is possible.

The posting will happen against consumption account and the price will picked from Info record.

Can you check the other details on left side of OMS2, where you can find quantity and value update indicator at plant level. There is possibility that qty and value update indicator is still active a plant level.

a quantity of the material still has a value.  You just aren't stocking it i.e. not quantity or value updating.

show an evidence, which would be a screenshot from your material master accounting view

The update tick from the customizing controls whether value goes into your stock accounts, it doies not control whether the movement itself is valuated or not.

Of course does the movement have a value, t gets its value from the info record as designed, or why did you maintain an info record with price ?
