physical inventory

Hi,

i have total 50k materials for cycle counting, in that 20k are A- type materials.

when i run MICN transaction, all 20k materials are displayed to create physical inventory document.

but, i don't need to create all 20k materials in the same day, i need to split it to 10 days (ex- 2k per day).

can you help me, how to do this in cycle counting process?

Hello Ravi,

Did you try with the "Max. No. of Items" field which is available in the selection screen of MICN?

Hi Fortian,

In MICN, "Max. No. of Items" field controls how many materials need to be print in single document.

"Max. No. of Items" definition: You want to inventory 920 materials and use this field to limit the maximum number of items per physical inventory document to 50. The system creates 19 physical inventory documents, of which the last one contains 20 items.
