Payroll Query

Dear Experts,

I have a query in payroll.Our company has the payroll period from 26th -25th of every month.The payroll periods have been generated for the whole year in T549Q.Now we need to run the payroll on 18th to give the  payments to employees before christmas holidays.Do i need to run the offcycle for all the employees?

Hi

You can run the payroll anytime in a month and if you want to pay the salaries, you need to post to FI i.e 18th

Then when you execute PC00_m99_cipe select the specify date a manually enter the date 18th MM YY and post it and you can pay the salary

Thanks for the answer,i have one more doubt,I have run live payroll run for all the employees previous month,now in this month all the employees have got increments,so i need to change the basic pay for all,shall i upload 0008 with the new basic salary or do i need to run change in pay action?

Plz advice !!

Hi Gopal

When you have change in pay i.e increment or promotion, please run through personnel actions and update the It0008.

For this you can use LSMW or BDC program.

Hi

Off cycle is not for normal payroll but specific payments outside normal payroll . Are you givig some bonus kind of thing or normal payroll ?

If its normal payroll then you can just go and change the paydate for this period in table V_T549S_B, Payday table . then run the payroll as you run normally.
