Hi,

  • Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.

*I nternal error: No valid return value for segment found

  • No segment found

  • No subsitute cost center maintained

  • No master cost center is possible as replacement for direct acct assignment

  • Enter a true account assignment relevant to cost accounting.

The cost center is properly maintained and even my CO consultant is not able to find where the exact probelm is.

Kindly help.

Hi Ameet,

I did not touch G/L accounts or their assignment. The payroll is running fine for all the other employees. The client wanted to hire a few employees and check if payroll can be posted to an Internal Order instead of a Cost Center. So, I have hired an employee under a new organizational unit, assigned an internal order and posted. Same errors occured. Then I have removed the internal order and assigned the cost center. Still they are the same errors.

If GL account assignments were wrong, then there should be issue with other employees also. But their payrolls are properly getting posted, only for this new employe these errors are occuring.

Kindly help.

Hi,

check field status group is assigned correctly and also check if cost centers are mapped correctly in configuration for relevant document type relevant to payroll.

Thanks,

Hi Veera,

This error ofcourse if for cost centre. Please, run the payroll again and try to post. if you still get the same error, either maintain a substitute cost centre in spro - Payroll - posting to fin.accounting or maintain a cost centre in IT 27 and run the payroll and post again.

Regards

dear.

kindly check the cost centre assignment to the relevant position for the concerning period of that particular employee.also ensure that employee's pa and OM data should be match. also check with the two or more position/cost centres assignment to the employee for that particular period.

Hi,

I had to re-run the payroll after the corrections. After that there was another error. This error was because there were no bank details for the employee. When the bank details were entered, I have re-run the payroll again, and the error was solved.

Please check Cost center is maintained for all employees.

Please check the OM side cost center relation is maintained properly.

This is probably because there is no cost center assigned to the employee.

I have faced the same issue with the newly hired employees in the current payroll run period, and the cost center was assigned in info-type 0001. and it has been resolved after assigning the employees to the alternative cost center in info-type 0027 running the payroll, then posting
