Parts Interchangeability in Process orders

I cannot find the "Trigger material exchange" icon on a Process Order with interchangeable parts. On a production order it is at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to make this work on a process order?

After a lot of research and testing, I have determined that Parts Interchangeability does not work for Process Orders.  The functionality only works on Production Orders.
