Partner selection popup in VA01

Hello,

We are facing one issue related to Partner selection popup while creating sales order.

If sold-to-party has more than one ship-to-party assigned in customer master then as a standard SAP, this popup appears in the VA01.

But sometimes (after creating 4-5 orders) for the same sold-to-party, partner selection popup does not appear and it takes 1st ship-to-party as default.

When user loggs off and again log in then while creating sales order he gets the popup again.

Has anyone faced such an issue? what could be the reson behind this?

It could be GUI problem. Upgrade your SAP Gui version and try.

SAP GUI version is the latest one.

But during de-bugging we found that for user FLAG_DIALOG_STATUS value sometimes comes as X which means batch input session. We are unable to find why sometimes VA01 session is being considered as batch input session.

Am meeting the same issue on VA01 header ,the Partner Selection pop-up Not Appearing when i change partner name ,but for other partners it works do you know why ?

Ensure that in Sold To Party master, Default box is not checked against any ship to party.  Otherwise, system will always pop up if multiple ship to is assigned.

We have not selected default check box for any ship-to-party in sold to master.

Our issue is that we need popup always and sometimes it doesnt come which is wrong.

I dont want to modify the popup window display, I just need that popup window should come while creating sales order, so that customer can choose the desired ship-to-party.

Hi Suresh,

The last entry will be in short memory, usually 1st SH will be picked by default, in case your requirement is to slect other SH / BP you can go to partner tab in SO and select the required partners.

Hi Suresh,

once if you have maintained multiple SH in CMR automatically will appear with choice,can you please check again for other customer, is the system behaves same or different.

For the same customer system sometimes gives popup and sometimes not(after creation of 4-5 orders)
