Partial Payment Request for Down Payment

hi all,

Due to the limitation on the maximum settlement amount imposed by our bank, we are required to process the down payment in partial instalments.

Could you please help us to know if it is possible to create a down payment request and settle it partially in supplier account?

other option would be to manually create and post the partial payments and later clear all the partial payments together with the down payment request.

for example :
Down payment request : 100 USD

Payment 1 : 70 USD

Payment 2 : 30 USD

Both this payments can be created and posted as On account payment (without linking them to the existing Down payment request)

Clearing : Down payment request 100 USD and Payment 1 and 2 ( total 100 USD).
