Gurus,
While performing PA40, Organizational Re-Assignment for any employee the search option for Position shows multiple entries as shown below, including the Parent Org Unit and Teams under the Unit.
Only one entry for the Org Unit (Company) marked in RED while the other three are different teams; initially only the was being show but now there are 3 entries and the end user is facing problems with that.
Note: The Org Units 392 and 887 have been dissolved as well and no more active.
There are two questions here:
1. Why are these entries being shown
2. How to remove them

Hi, I guess those 2 org units might be deactivated recently. Showing Org units in red may be the default behavior. If you want to hide those org.units in F4 help, you may have to check the search help H_T528B along with function module HR_T528B_F4_EXIT. Here you may find a include program named LHRPAD00F4EXITU01. You can write some abap code to hide those inactive org.units.

As per my discussion with the end users and investigation, The end user have Delimited the Assignments against Positions: Kindly explain why is this causing the position to be displayed in F4 Help and will removing the delimit date fix the issue?
Further if these Org Unit are deactivated then they should not be displayed in any of the selection options, please correct me if i am wrong
So the Problem Identified - These entries are shown here when the end user Delimits an Obsolete or Dissolved department/ team.
Now the question is what is the right procedure to remove such redundant departments/Teams, such that the employee Master also shows the historical data of an employee.

I'm still not seeing any screenshot. If an orgunit is not used anymore it just has to be delimited in time and it will disappear automatically. I'm assuming that there is a problem with that. Or you are showing the Org units in the period where they were still valid.
There is no screenshot so I cannot know for sure but it might be related to the dates of the units and/or the date of your selection?
