Dear experts,
We recently implemented TM but only the basic settings since the client is still not ready to move fully from LE to TM. However, they are looking to step by step leave more room for TM to handled things. On of these is the output management.
Currently, they are using the old NACE to determine the output types and to send the forms and we are discussing to move this to TM. However, I am struggling to understand if this can also be handled via BRF+ or if it needs to go through PPF. I have been reading a lot and it seems for TM the only way to process outputs is via PPF.
On the output control settings, I see the application object types available to be activated limited mostly to Sales Documents, Purchasing Documents, etc but nothing related to Shipments. Did I understood correctly?
Regards,

Hello @papa261190
LE-TR (shipments) uses NACE for output processing. In contrast TM relies on PPF actions.
BRF+ and PPF is not an alternative. They are complementary, they work together. BRF+ can be used to implement conditions for PPF. BRF+ is for PPF, what output conditions are for NACE.
