Output Items per Application Object Type

S/4HANA Public Cloud has the app Manage Output Items, unfortunately there is no option available to retrict the application types for specific business roles.

We have the requirement where different work streams would like to have a list that shows them only the output items relevant to them. Yes this can be achieved using filters, but that doesn't stop anyone viewing and actioning items for other areas of the business. E.g. someone in Purchasing accidently sending a sales invoice to a customer.

Has anyone been able to find a solution for this?
