ORDERS IDOC line item MENGE is missing for debit memos

Hello,

we have implemented the use of ORDERS05 IDOC for sales orders in order to send "some basic" sales information to another system. No we have a problem with the QUANTITY of a line item.

For sales document types "Debit Memo" there are no schedule lines and the IDOC segment E1EDP01 for the line item does then not show field MENGE. It is however shown for document types where we have schedule lines.

For our business case, we use these debit memos as well as "normal" sales orders in the same way. Which IDOC must we use to also have MENGE available in the IDOC if there are no schedule lines?

For debit memo requests, you need to check the field ZMENG (Target quantity). Not sure why you are looking at MENGE.
