Can someone tell me why "request order can be automated, and i don't have a (1) in the course ??
Can it be automated or can't it??

thank you in advance

Hi, is this for SAP S/4 Hana? Because order creation can be also automated with creation of sales order with the planning strategy 82

I have a doubt because in the diagram i see that it's not marked as (1).

It may be also possible that the automation is from master data (strategy), not customizing .

@arjuna_bandara I think the step in question is not order creation but order request

Greetings,

perhaps they mean that order request is actually planned order created by MRP.

Best regards, Matjaž.

Hello Katy-159 ,

Let me try to explain you in simple manner.

When you check prod order process flow, Step (1) actually belongs prod order release part and not the Order Request. Because Order Request means 1 as given in image.

So as per SAP Standards, with configuration we can automate release function of prod order.

This can be achieved in following manner:

For Discrete Manufacturing: Go to Tcode OPKP - Prod Scheduling Profile and Simply tick indicator Release in On Creation Section, this way you can release your production order during creation step itself. Thats called as Automation Step just to avoid 2 step process.

For Process Industry: Go to Tcode CORY - Prod Scheduling Profile - you can perform same steps as explained above for automatic release of process orders.

If this explanation is satisfactory for you then you can mark this answer and close this thread.
