Open transfer Orders

Hello Gurus,

While doing physical inventory count, inventory record is not getting activated and displays error that system has open transfer orders and quants with negative quantity. I am unable to cancel the open transfer orders with LT15, Kindly suggest me solution on how to remove open transfer orders and negative quantity from the system.

Thanks for the reply, this material has got stock at the required storage bin but this particular TO was created three months back.

Along with the request made by Philippe, Could you please share few additional detail of Transfer order which is in open status and detail of bin (T-code LT26) for which you are trying to create the Inventory record

When I cancel the particular TO in LT15, it shows the TO is cancelled but when I check in LT22 it's status is still in open Transfer order.

Hi Vineet,

Is the icon for the TO confirmation in yellow when you display the TO in LT22 ? I mean are you using 2-Step confirmation ? if yes, you can not cancel the TO.

If you cannot cancel the TO, then confirm it and move the goods back to it with a new TO.

Hi Vineet,

When you see the Transfer order in LT22 or LT24, do you see the deletion indicator set against the Transfer order? If you do not see that deletion indicator after deleting it in LT15, please try to check if any short dumps were created in in ST22 by deleting the TO once again. If you get short dumps, then it may give some inputs. Based on your feedback we may try to find some other options.

Thanks for your reply, No deletion indicator is set aganist the transfer order after deleting it in LT15, neither any short dumps are created. Transfer order is still open in the LT22.

Thanks for the reply, No we are not using 2-step confirmation and Icon is red when in display mode in LT22.

I believe it will be much helpful for anyone on SCN to help if you can provide the steps along with the screenshot so that SCN member can have a look on the full screen and suggest what is wrong

Hi Vineet,

An other possibility is that your TO is linked to a sub-system. in that case you need to flag "sub-system" in LT15, otherwise you will only send a request for deletion to the sub-system.

Screenshots would definitely help ...
