Can any one explain the definition of Open PO in SAP Terminology and what it represents ?

Open PO means,the Po aganist which no follown on functions (Like GR) has taken place.

Open PO means it does not specify particular material or qty but it will have a total value as Target.
This is called Frame work PO.

An open PO is a purchase order that is avaiable within SAP for further processing. Where there is an open quantity to be delivered on the PO. So a goods reciept can be performed within SAP.
