One-time vendor PO

Hi,

Do anyone know how why PO header : Vendor address get clear/deleted if PO vendor is one-time vendor?

Any suggestion on how to keep the address?

hi Esther,

When thinking logically, if we define the Address and other details in the VMR for ONE time Vendor, then, what is the need of creating one time vendor...

One time vendor is created so as to have very or as less data in the system, just because the information is not req. again n again...SO the adress is never filled in it...

And if you want all the details like address, then why don't you opt for the normal vendor...

When you make the one time VMR, it is obvious that you enter the address data later in the PO...

But when try to maintain the address back in PO it will not allow as the address record doesn't exist in ADRC table.

Where and how we can check who deleted the address ....! also don't see any change records at PO header also tried in CDHDR with address number , but no findings ....can some one help on this .....Thanks

Hi,

Because of the attributes of One-time vendor, it has no fixed vendor address for one-time vendor, so many suppliers use the same one-time vendor number in the system. So in POs with one-time vendor, there maybe are several parts or services with different suppliers during purchasing process, you need to maintain the vendor address in the separate POs for different suppliers every time. That's the reason why the vendor address is blank in the PO header with one-time vendor.

Do you know where the One time Vendor address is provided in the PO template. I think it's in the Header_address worksheet, but not absolutely sure, and can not find any help on this, so far.

Technically, the address will be stored in EKKO-ADRNR.

Please try to maintain the adress again in ME22N and save. Check if it still there after this.

one time vendor means u are procuring from him once in a blue moon so there is no point in storing the vendor info in my sap system

so i wolud be creating a single vendor code for all the one time vendor and this no is used for all of them due to which i need to mention new vendor address in po as the vendot changes
