I tried planning strategy 40 for a material and maintained PIR in md61. At beginning the requirement type was VSF. Later changed the strategy to 10 for same material in MM02 and tried to maintain PIR. But this time got 2 line items in MD61.
At first tried deleting the old requirement line item and created new line item. But still the PIR was created with old Requirement type.
Ran MD74, MD75, MD76. I have not deleted the old PIR line item.
Later change the user parameter in MD61 and changed the requirement type.
Why this is happening. Is it system behavior. Whenever we change the strategy the system should change the requirement type for MD61 based on strategy right?
