OData service for Fiori Analytical Table - sap.ui.table.AnalyticalTable

Hello dear experts,

I'm looking for information, documentation, tutorials, anything that clarify how to build or annotate an OData service for the Fiori Analytical Table control:

I would like to expose data from one simple custom Z table in an S/4HANA on premise backend. The approach would ideally be using RAP, but any suggestions are welcome.

You might also check out https://github.com/gregorwolf/sap-support-message-reporting and transfer that to ABAP.
