Dear community,
First of all. I know that this is no topic related to SAP. Nevertheless I hope you have at least a hint which helps me further.
My customer wants to scan SAP PM order documents with BarCodes in the Form. The BarCode shall contain the Order number of the PM order. The order printout with the Barcode and related Documents shall be scanned and summarized into a big PDF Doc.
I am searching for a Software (most likely OCR Software) which can “read” and detect BarCodes within PDF Files and read out the information from the BarCode (order number). This software should be able to save the document with the filename of the order number wihtin the BarCode.
E.g.:
Barcode = 6100001
FileName: 6100001.pdf
If possible this software should also be able to detect multiple barcodes within a PDF with multiple pages and “split” the documents based on the order number.
Any feedback or suggestion for such a software would be really appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers Patrick
