Hello

I am facing the below error below message while maintaining infotype-1001 for position." Can some please help me to fix this issue.

"Object type S infotype 1001 cannot be maintained via basic transaction

Message no. 5A263

Diagnosis

In accordance with the entries in tables T77CD (Infotypes - Customer- Specific Settings) and T777I (Infotypes per Object Type), you cannot use the detail maintenance function to process this infotype"

What tcode are you using to maintain the value? Also check the values of T77CD and T777I for this obeject type S.

Hi saphr.professional,

Infotypes 1000 Object and 1001 Relationships constitute the core personnel planning infotypes.

Usually you would have to maintain infotype 1000 first, creating the new objects and only then maintain infotype 1001 to determine the links between them.

That said, you may need to maintain tables T777I or T77CD and T777E.

1. Go to SE16 or SE11.

2. Unchecked the column MAINT - Indicator: Cannot be Maintained via Standard Transactions

3. Save and try to create the object using PP01 or PP02.
