Can we maintain number ranges without using NUMKR

Hi,

We can not maintain number range without NUMKR feature.

It is used to define whether the employee numbering created for such personnel area would be proposed by the system (internal) or defined by the user (external).

Hi Venkat,

Kindly elaborate your query, why you want to maintain number range intervals with out NUMKR feature, Is there any specific requirement, kindly let us know.

If you want to maintain number ranges with out NUMKR feature, you can but with out NUMKR feature how system will know for which PA, PSA, EG and ESG which Number range Interval should default.

Ideally NUMKR Feature is used to default the Number Range Interval from IMG to IT0000.

NOTE: If you will maintain Number range Intervals with out NUMKR Feature system will not default any PERNR.

using the Tcode SRNO you can create number range.

You can't maintain number range with our feature NUMKR,   

Feature NUMKR is used to define whether the employee numbering created for such personnel area would be created internal (proposed by the system) or external assignment (User Define). Personnel number assignment is controlled by the NUMKR feature, which uses the standard number ranges.
