Number range for raw material

Hi,

When i am trying to create a material for type "raw material-ROH" the system is throwing an error message "Internal number assignment is not possible for the material type RAW materials"

I have defined the number ragne in MMNR, but how can i make sure that the number range what i have create is for raw material in other words how to assign the number range what i created to material type ROH

Hi Sam ,

In MMNR at first click on change group .

Check in which grp ur ROH exists.

Select that group and click on maintain to ensure that number range are linked to correct material type.

STEPS 

Go to Tcode MMNR, create material number or take already exists. Remember that number 

Next step 

Observe menu bar - - Go to (option) - - click on Group option -- click on maintain option---after see your material type whether exists or not. If existed  select it. You can observe in Title bar - - Element/Group (symbol) click on that after which number range choosen or created own in MMNR intervals give there and save it

Hi,

MMNR you have created the number range but I think you have check the check box of external number range . So you are getting this error . Donu2019t check the check box if you want to create internal no. range .

You can check the number range by clicking the tab og group and as per your material type no range is maintained
