Number range deletion in Dev system Client

Hi,

I am trying to create a number range in clients development system.There is already a number range that is existing which is overlapping with my current requirement.I want to use different codes for number ranges...so i dont opt for changing the range.

Can i delete the number range in development system.

Pls suggest.

If you are in development system and until and unless there is no impact in production system and you are known that what you are doing why you are doing it and you are able to replace the changes if any thing goes wrong you do what ever you want and explore as much as possible.

Development you can do as you wanted but it should not disturb any existing functionality.
