Not able to see Functional Location and Equipment on the map in SSAM 2410

Hello Experts,

I am storing the Lat and Long data in classification characteristics of Equipment and FLs and have configured the GIS map configuration but not able to map these fields in the map parameter hence the data is not appearing on the SSAM map. Has anyone been able to do this successfully and let me know what I might have been missing.

Did you check the UDB files and verify if the technical objects have geometry data? They will only appear if they are on device AND have geometry data so verify both.

Hi Muhammad, thanks for the response. The technical objects have geometry data but only in custom fields which were created in the backend. We aer not using GEF here so the out of the box fields are not enabled and we are not trying to use any external database for geo enablement. I have configured the GIS basic settings but still cant see view on map option enabled. Please advise.

I would like to close the thread as I have figured it out by passing the custom fields to map services.
