Not able to edit the document attached by different user

Hello all,

I am working on PLM Web UI 7.02.

In Document Management system, when I try to edit original attached by a different user to a DIR for a document type, it gives me error message as:

Read or Write Error.

And I am not able to edit the document. This error is independent of any document type.

I am able to edit the original which I have attached to the DIR.

Any solution to this issue?

have you checked if the original file attached by a different user is actually checked into a content server / checked in at all?

I can't say I'm overly familiar with this area, but it sounds like a straight authorization issue. Especially since it is across the board and not related to your document type. 

Have you tried having security look at your SU53 screen/?  (You know to run this immediately after a security issue to help determine your missing security right?).

I checked the SU53 screen, immediately after this error.

Screen is attached here.

There is an authorization issue. Is the error we are gettting because of this authorization issue?
