Not able to consume API via business object interface from RAP

Hi,

I followed the tutorial above but experienced problem to test the app.

When I tested the function to post new purchase requisition, system returns this error "Unspecified provider error occurred. See Error Context and Call Stack." as shown below.

I developed the objects in S4HANA Cloud but I am not sure why this tutorial does not work in our Customizing tenant where data is available for testing. Is there any pre-requisite for using BOI in S4/HANA Cloud that we should be aware of?

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extensibility" for this question, as SAP APIs are Objects related to Extensibility.

Hi,

We copied the exact source code from the tutorial but it doesn't work when we tested it. We're testing the functional of creating new purchase requisition by calling BOI in the implemented class.

I found the following when debugging the program:

1. After calling the BOI to create new Purchase Requisition, system does not feedback on the error encountered, in this case the PR was not created. None of the variables we mapped were updated by BOI.

2. Right after the method is fully executed, system error was triggered as shown below:

I would recommend you to open an incident for SAP Product Support to check your issue.
