Non summarised results

Dear PP,QM Gurus ,

I have a schenario where in results recording for some MICs is done in a summarised fashion(single result ) and some tests in a non summarsied fashion( 3-4 different values ). The same has to be transfered on to the COA . Kindly suggest the changes ,settings and config involved in setting this up

For the moment let us keep the COA issue apart ... all I need is that I should be able to record single value results for multiple amples for a single MIC . Please tell me about the settings in cinfig and masters.

Hi Ibmteam,

For those test for which you want the results as singal values, you had created MICs correct?

In those MICs select the Radio Button "SINGLE RESULT" in the Control indicator set.

You typically include a sampling procedure as well so the system can calculate how many results are to be recorded.

Hi ,

If the no of saples( not sample size) is fixed then crete sampling procedure like wise, if not then activate contol indicator single result and assign inspectio point as free inspection point to inspection plan

So that u will be able do multiple result recording for single mic

Hi,

On certifcate profile you have a field called "result selection level" here following option are provided

Summarized

Mean value of sample / inspection point

Original value

choose the appropriate option as per your requirement.

Hi,

You need to create the different master inspection characteristics with control indicator set for summarized recording and single value recording. Assign new characteristic to inspection plant of material specification. create new inspection lot and you should be able to record single and summarized results .
