No initiatilization source

Hello

We changed our differentiation criteria from sec account to sec acc group, so also changed valuation area and accounting code, now when running initialization on step 1 we get error "Valuation area 002 in acct code 0001 does not have an initialization source

Message no. TPM_TRL169

Our previous acc code was 1000 and valuation area 001

Any idea what can be the problem

Hi

Go "Assign Accounting Codes and Valuation Areas" double click your assignment here on the bottom you will get "source VA for securities " add your source here.

On my side we changed differentiation criteria from sec account to sec acc group and that called for us to change acc code and valuation area, and we had already existing deals on previous diff criteria sec acc, any idea how we can resolve this, it seems a challenge to change diff criteria when you have existing deals.
