No direct postings possible to G/L account XXXXX we are receiving this queue error in EWM

Dears we received a user complaint for the issue " No direct postings possible to G/L account XXXXX " they were trying to post a GR in EWM. We asked for detailed process and they mentioned us: we made movement 202 in migo, then we accepted the delivery in scwm/prdi. Unfortunately the system did not record movement 202 in ERP, because a queue appeared. We made the order return for movement 201." We checked in FS00 it is mentioned that the G/L is set for automatic postings. In SMq2 it shows as a SYSFAIL whereas in SLG1 there is no error. Please help

How did you handle this (before trying to create manual corrections)

• SMQ1 outbound or SMQ2 inbound queue fails with SYSFAIL (EWM)

We need a solution the reason Why is known now. We need to understand how to solve this

If functionals (and auditors) are ok, you could remove the flag, you also need to prevent other users from posting between unset and set of the flag.

You already know the answer as you have checked that:

We checked in FS00 it is mentioned that the G/L is set for automatic postings.

That is the reason for No direct postings possible to G/L account XXXXX error.

If you are sure the account is correct, then you need to modify the account settings in FS00 and remove automatic only postings flag.
