No default value maintained for op. generation for order type PI01.

Hi

In MTS Scenario, while converting the process order from MD04 screen-planned order, above error is reflecting.

Please guide where to maintain the default value?

Ajeet.

System is not able to get a valid Master Recipe for the Order qty/date or correct status and usage, so system should try to generate an operation for which we need to set default operation details for the plant/order type combination in Customization.

Please check the valdity dates/qty and status of the recipe, if that was not created please maintain the default operation in customizing.</b>

Solved the problem.The error was the order type was not changed in mainatain planned orders in the plant parameters.

You have to do "OPJG" and assigned Order type, Control key & following valives.

If u want to the planned order to be converted in to process order even if no recipe is maintained for that particular material you can do it by configuring in T code-OPJG

Enter the plant

then press New Entries ,Give order Type-PI01(Ex)

Control Key & fill in all the mandatory fields

In the Operation field Give Item-0010 & Description for the same

This is how default value can be maintained

Go to C223 or in Production version in mm02 and select valid data-

Selection of routing and group counter need to be check in this case-
