Hi Subrahanyam,

Is this the customized New material master view?

I don't think as such there would be any impact of it on existing material master data.

Addition of customised view to the material Master

Hi,

Thanks for the immediate replies. My another requirement is , How to embed the characteristics to newly created view (not classification copy) at plant level ? Can it be done ?

If not, by copying classification and renaming the view will have any impact on the standard classification tables. Since I am copying the classification view and want to use this at plant level. Since, classification view is maintained at client level , I want that at plant level .

Hi Subrahmanyam,

Why do you want classification on plant level?

You can have the batch at plant level with class 22 which is at plant level.

Apart from that if you copy the classification at plant level you need to have the custimized table for it.

So there would not be any impact on standard classification table.
