network activity procurement type

Hello,

For one component (stock item) against PS network activity procurement type is selected as Planned Independent Rqmts for Plant St ( in general data and in procurement parameters tab).Against this component BOM category is S updated in line item. But I don't see any BOM reference.

Advance procurement indicator is ticked but movement allowed is unchecked. When we manually insert this component procurement type is automatically selected as reservation for network.

Now I would like to know that how Planned Independent Rqmts for Plant St got updated in first place, and when can we see the config for allow goods movement against procurement type.

When you set a component as Advanced Procurement it is a preliminary requirement so you cannot issue it to the NWA. That requirement will be replaced by another requirement usually from a PP BOM explosion.

Look at OPS8 in config.

In OPS8 config prelim requirement is only checked for procurement indicators ( Planned independent reqmnts for WBS and Prelim. req. for WBS). My question is how come procurement type Planned Independent Rqmts for Plant St has been selected for this component?

Do you mean to say that PP BOM explosion created procurement type Planned Independent Rqmts for Plant St? This must have been happened in advance. Is this standard functionality " Advance procurement/Prelim. requirement indicator is ticked then movement allowed is unchecked". Is there any standard config available for this or not required?
