Need to find BOM chang history CDS View for changes done & Mail or notification to respective person

Dear Expert,

We require the BOM change history for getting the BOM changes data.

When a BOM change occurs, the report should display all changes, including the old value/material and the current value/material.

Additionally, we need to ensure that when a user saves a changed BOM, an email or notification is sent to the respective person.

BOM changes in S/4HANA Public Cloud are recorded via Change numbers or Change Records.

Please explore the available CDS Views from the Engineering Change Management area under the following link: CDS Views for Engineering Change Management | SAP Help Portal

These can be used to extract the data you require by developing a custom report for example.

Regarding the notifications to be sent; i recommend you to explore one of the developer extensibility options. Also maybe the developer can make use of enhancing the QM Notifications functionality to cover this requirement.

As an alternative option you can also think about creating a custom workflow via BRF+ to send out these notifications based on specific conditions and rules.
