Hello SAP S/4HANA Cloud Community,
I work in Product Support for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and I'd like to share questions I receive through incidents with the Cloud Community as I think it would be beneficial to share the information.
Question:
When creating a new project by copying a project in app "Project Control", the new project has the same Company Code as the source project. The Company Code field is greyed out so cannot be changed. How can we modify the Company Code?
Best Regards,
Brendan
Request clarification before answering.
The Company Code is derived from the Responsible Cost Center. Change the Responsible Cost Center in order to update the Company Code.

Dear Brendan,
I noticed the underlying WBS elements still have the Responsible Cost Center of the source project. Those WBS elements only become visible after you click on Create. If I then try to change those Responsible Cost Centers (from another CoCo then the source project) I receive an error and I am not able to change these Responsible Cost Centers on the underlying WBS elements.
Do you have a solution for that issue?
Kind regards,
Vanessa
