Need Ability to Apply Different User Statuses to Multiple WBS Elements Simultaneously in SAP

Hello SAP Community,

I am currently facing a limitation where user statuses can only be added to project briefs and are applied generally across the entire project structure. This restricts the flexibility to assign different user statuses to individual WBS elements within the same project.

In production lines, especially for tank manufacturing, having specific statuses for different activities is crucial for efficient project control. For example, in a tank production line, two tasks like bending sheet metal and welding can occur simultaneously, but each task requires a different user status to track its progress accurately.

Is there a way to configure SAP to allow different user statuses to be applied to multiple WBS elements simultaneously, based on the specific needs of each element?

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

This is not possible in S/4HANA Public Cloud Enterprise Projects.  From your example it looks like you should be using Production Orders. 

You could add custom fields to the WBS and create a BTP app to fill the fields based on your criteria.
