We have a client in the retail industry.
They have approx. 80k items in their database, and roughly 20k have more than two units of measurement, and our client needs to have them stored in sap business one (10).
We cannot use groups, as each item is unique in its measurements, and grouping them would require too much work.
We thought of a possible solution: Create one UoM-Group per Item.
Question:
1. Is there a better solution to have different units of measurement per item without using groups?
2. Can SAP Business One 10 handle 20k UoM-Groups?
Thank you.

Hi,
You can keep the default UOM group Manual and specify the unit of measurement at transaction level manually or try populating UOMs by FMS. But ensure inventory unit of measurement. It can be only one.
Honestly have not come across Maximum number of UOM groups supported by SAP.

Hello Charles,
It is possible only if inventory UoM is same.
No matter Sales UoM or Purchase UoM is different or more than two different unit of measurement.
