Hi
We are using the Manage Purchase Requisitions - Professional to create purchase requisitions.
When maintaining the delivery address, we only have a single plant address or user entry option to choose from. Is there a way to have multiple addresses in a drop-down. This is a major issue for mining companies, as we have usually have multiple delivery points. e.g. Deliver to Logistics carrier, Deliver to airline, deliver direct to site.
Manual user address entry for each requisition/line is not a viable option.
thanks

Hi David, maintaing multiple addresses is not possible as of now.
tarun.mohan.dalmia : Is there an alternate way to achieve this?

Hi Tarun,
Thanks for the response.
In the documentation for Storage Location it states: "A storage location has a description and an address. The address can be used as the delivery address in, for example, purchase orders and inbound deliveries. If the address of the storage location is the same as the address of the plant to which it belongs, the maintenance of the storage location address is not necessary."
My question then is why are the storage locations not available on the drop-down for Address when raising a requisition? We use "Manage Purchase Requisition Professional". We only have the options for "Plant" or "User-Entry". Have we missed a configuration step?
If the storage location is not meant to be used during the requisition process, then is it only to be used when the purchasing officer creates the Purchase Order? That doesn't seem like a good end-to-end process, so I must be missing something.
thanks in advance.
David
Hello dvdberg , tarun.mohan.dalmia
Now that SAP has come up with multiple releases, is this option still not available to have multiple addresses for delivery locations? If not, any idea if its even in the pipeline of provisions by SAP?
