Multiple mock loads in same cloud environment

The project plan is to have 2 data mock loads in the same cloud environment where mock 1 feeding the SIT & mock 2 for UAT.

Being in the same environment mock 2 either can have only the delta of mock 1 or the objects has to be loaded with a different number range(this will not be applicable for few finance data objects)

Could you please help with alternate options on this challenge on how is this managed with other S/4HANA Cloud implementations?

Hi,

This is an interesting and challenging topic in Cloud Essentials.

As you mentioned different number ranges can't be used for all master data objects and some of the numbers are even internal ranges without any control over it.

My suggestion would be to use a small set of data for SIT (5-10 instances per object) and then do a data sampling something like 10-20% data and use this as an input for UAT. This will help you to test a little bigger master data set and also help in getting an estimation on how much time you need for data transformation/loading etc.

Out of curiosity, why you want to have a different set of finance objects (Profit center/cost centers) for SIT/UAT?

Small set of data would not be helpful to test the dependent data objects and to make use in SIT, The intention is to make use of the mock 1 for technical evaluation as well for SIT and mock 2 for UAT
