Hi All,
We are using the MSS Add-on for EhP6 in 7.3 portal. We are also using standard Manager Self Service role in the portal. We are experiencing problem while launching MSS Report from Manager Self Service role in portal. Even after selecting the appropriate Employee the system is showing message as "Before selecting a function, select a suitable entry in org.structure".
Please find the attachd screenshot for the error message and the steps
we followed to get this error.
Please help me on fixing this issue.
Regards,
Sarath
Dear Sarath,
We faced the same issue recently and SAP suggested us to follow the steps mentioned in the Solution Section of the note,- 1879243 MSS Launchpad not working after upgrade.
Solution
For the Solution, please perform the following manual steps
1) Launch Tcode: LPD_CUST
2) Edit the following configuration
Role: MSS
instance: ITS_NAV
3) To the right of the screen under Advanced Parameters there is button
with three dots beside the Application Parameter input field. ( Please
refer to the document in the attachment section for the visual reference ).
4)Pressing the button will open a dialog window with the list of
Parameters.
5) Change the following Target parameters to capital letters as shown
below.
a) guid_32 change to GUID_32
b) begda change to BEGDA
c) endda change to ENDDA
6) Save and close the configuration.
7) Perform the same changes for the launchpad configuration
Role: MSS
Instance: ITS_NAV1
Thanks and Regards,
Suman I Kurian

Hi Dev,
You don't have to do any changes in the Role:MSS Instance:REP
You have to do changes in the Role: MSS Instance: ITS_NAV
Proceed according to the steps mentioned above or follow the same steps mentioned in the note 1879243. There is an attachment PDF with that note, in that you can find the screenshots.

Suman
