Hello Experts,
Please advise whether if there is any BADI available (or any other option available) to allow MRP run only if the sales order costing is completed successfully for a sales order in Make To Order (MTO) process scenario in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
Please advise.
Thank you
kind regards

Hi Thangaraj,
thanks for raising the question. There is a possibility to prevent the requirement handover to MRP by setting the 'Fixed Date and Qty' flag on the order item level. When entering MTO items the confirmation is usually zero as you have no supply yet. By fixing date and quantity the request is set equal to the confirmation, and hence the there is no requirement that can be handed over to MRP. Once you have completed sales order costing, you can unset the flag and the item is visible to MRP again as the there is open quantity.
You can set this indicator via different ways:
1. You can set it on the schedule line view of item detail
2. You can set it from within Review Availability Check Result screen
3. You can set it by default for a sales area via SSCUI Configure Default Settings by Sales Area (106305)
Regards,
Andreas
