MRP Run for FG Material With strategy 40 and strategy 50.

While  MRP run for the FG material with Strategy 40, it considering both SFG and RM and creates Planned orders and Purchase requisitions.  But for the same  FG material, if maintained Strategy 50, it does not considering the SFG and RM.  After creating demand in MD61. Am I missing something? Using Req type VSF for 40 and VSE for 50 while creating demand in MD61.

Maintained

MRP Type - FG, SFG, RM = PD.

Strategy Group - SFG, RM - Nil,  for FG - 40/50.

Ind/Coll requirement - SFG, FG - Nil, RM - 2.

Please help.

For the strategy group, you should only maintain for the Finihsed material, you should not maintain strategy group  for the Semi-finished/ Raw  material, just keep the strategy group = Blank for the SF and RW materials.

For exampl: FG Stategy group = 50.

Create the PIR for FG.

For the Semi-finished/ Raw  material, just keep the strategy group = Blank,

if the Ind/Coll requirement =1, Run MRP, it will not create the planned order/ PR until the SO was created for FG.

if the  Ind/Coll requirement =2, Run MRP，it will create the planed order.
