MRP run by purchasing group and spec proc type

Our buying team wants to be able to filter MRP runs by purchasing group and special procurement type so we can run internal transfers that we individually work each morning. Is there a way in MD01N or another app that allows us to specifically run MRP's that way? We have more than one buyer for the same vendor based on what product line is purchased so having that ability to filter from the start is a big help.

Hello pdyke

You can implement additional selection criteria in MD01N (MRP Live) as described in the notes:

2403691 - MD01n: Extension of Selection Screen (S4CORE)

2473397 - MD01n: Extension of Selection Screen (SAP_APPL)

If you are using classic MRP, then the criteria can be implemented with the M61X0001 user exit.

Hi Philip,

just for common understanding: Why would you want to use the purchasing group for filtering of MRP runs? Usually this is what the MRP ctrl. is made for. Can you provide some more details on that?

We run intracompany transfers for several plants each morning, and 8 buyers are involved. We don't know each others' products well enough for one person to run them all and we all need to review each day. Our buyer ID's are mapped to purchasing group so it allows us to see what we handle individually. If we don't have that, there are transfers that have a couple hundred lines of materials that would all need to be reviewed by everyone every day.
