MRP Live and Repetitive Manufacturing

Hi gurus, please I'd need some help..

We are in a new implementation of S4 Hana 1710. We have created an scenario with repetitive manufacturing (just for a few materials), and every time we try to execute MRP live for materials managed with REM, the MRP finish with a dump

As it only happens if we execute MD01N with materials managed by REM we think that maybe the problem is related to range numbers, but we have mantained the interval for planned orders.

Please any idea or suggestion??

Thanks a lot

Hello

In order to analyze this a short dump, we usually need to see the complete short dump, so I suggest you to download the short dump in the text format and attach it to this question.

Considering the information about the short dump available in the screenshot, I see that this dump is a numeric overflow. There are different causes for a numeric overflow, such as a huge quantity calculated by MRP that cannot be stored in a standard field or some problem with unit of measure conversion, so I suggest you to first check the quantities for this material.

The issue may also be caused by a short dump and if we look for correction notes with the dump numeric overflow in MD01N, we will find the following:

2697406 - MRP Live - numeric overflow in postprocessing

2654633 - Numeric Overflow dump in MD01N

2585671 - MD01N: Rescheduling Horizon does not consider Goods Receipt Processing Time

2504939 - MRP Live results in Numeric Overflow

Please make sure that all these notes are implemented on your system and test MRP Live again.

Caetano

Hi Pascual,

Please refer note 2723945 - Syntax errors in class CL_PPS4_MRP_DISPATCHER or note 2673397 - Message_type_x runtime error in MD01n whichever is applicable for your issue.
